Welcome to the 2nd Edition of Blekinge Swimrun Expedition!
Your next great A to B adventure, exploring the hidden gems of the Blekinge Archipelago.
Our first expedition in 2025 was nothing but a success and we are aiming to make 2026 even better!
Blekinge Swimrun Expedition is NOT a race or a competition. It is an adventure - a swimrun EXPEDITION. Our journey begins in Karlshamn and ends on Ytterön. Over 4 unforgettable days, we’ll cover 140 kilometers together, pushing our limits as we swim and run through stunning landscapes and open waters. Along this journey, we will stay at four different accommodations on Tjärö, Karön, Karlskrona, and Ytterön. The mission is not to move as fast as possible from A to B. Instead, the goal is to have a unique nature experience while enjoying beautiful swims and having a great time. However, covering 140 kilometers in 4 days will require strength, endurance, and willpower.
You’ll pass many historical sites that have played a significant role in Sweden's history, including the location where the Russian submarine U137 ran aground in 1981.
You’ll be guided by outstanding local guides who will lead you through the swims and runs. Additionally, we will have a service car along the route to provide lunch and snacks, as well as transport your personal luggage from one accommodation to the next. This means you won’t need to carry anything along the way.
For your safety, a dedicated kayak team will accompany us throughout the journey. During longer swims and in areas with heavy boat traffic, it is especially important that the group stays together. To ensure this, participants will learn to swim in formation. If needed, the guides may pair participants and use towlines to enhance safety. Throughout the entire expedition, we will move together as one team. As a participant, this means you are not permitted to separate from the group or continue on your own.
This is an All-Inclusive Expedition, meaning all meals and accommodations are included in the price.
Only 12 spots available! So it is "först till kvarn".

This is an All-Inclusive event meaning that all meals during the days will be served and we will do our best to provide you with alot of food and snacks. However, all participants are responsible for their own energyplan. So if you know that you are a hungry person, or that the bloodsuger easily runs low, please bring bars, gels, extra candy etc.
Except from energy, your swimrun suit should be a priority to pack. The water and air temperature can easily shift so if possible bring different options of swimrun suits and sleaves. In the evenings you might want to concider to change your wetsuit into someting more comfortable.
What is swimrun without the paddles and the pullbouy? HARD is the answer. Swimming goggles-also good to have. A towline, if you or a friend need some extra push.
* A more detailed packing list will be sent to the participants closer to the starting date.
